I am a PhD student in the Systems Group at ETH Zurich, advised by Prof. Dr. Gustavo Alonso and co-advised by Prof. Dr. Ana Klimović. My research focuses on scaling and optimization of Databases and Data Management Systems.

Prior to commencing my doctoral studies, I worked for 5 years at the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) on developing novel algorithms for linear algebra on distributed systems, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Torsten Hoefler.

During the master studies at ETH Zurich, I have been supervised by Prof. Dr. Angelika Steger, where I also worked as a research and a teaching assistant. My master thesis was exploring the intersection of Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning.
