Ana Klimovic gave a talk at the Microsoft Gray Systems Lab Seminar entitled “Rethinking Systems Software for the Serverless Cloud.”

The talk was about unlocking the performance and energy efficiency potential of serverless cloud computing with a new serverless programming model that separates pure computation functions and communication functions, an efficient function execution architecture (Dandelion) to execute such applications, and a new cluster manager (Dirigent) to orchestrate many serverless applications in a cluster with low latency and high throughput.
