AMD-ETHZ HACC Cluster Expanded

The external pageAMD-ETHZ Heterogeneous Acceleration Computing Cluster donated by AMD/Xilinx has been expanded with 10 additional nodes. These new nodes host an Alveo U55C FPGA with 16GB HBM and 100 GbE network connections. An additional Versal card has also been added to the cluster. The nodes complement the existing collection of FPGAs (Alveo U50, 250, 280) and computing nodes, providing a valuable resource for research in hardware acceleration for data centers to researchers at ETH and at other Universities. We would like to thank AMD/Xilinx for the donation and also thank the team in AMD Ireland (Michaela Blott, Cathal McCabe, and Mario Ruiz) for the constant support in further developing the cluster. For information on accessing the cluster, please contact Prof. Gustavo Alonso.
